In 2024, the entire diamond industry produced fewer than twelve Fancy Vivid Yellows above 5 carats that were both clean and saturated enough to keep the full Vivid grade after fashioning.
This 8.41 ct radiant should not be one of them.
The rough was a 38 ct Type IIa crystal from our DTC Botswana allocation – completely colour-zoned, half intense, half near-colourless. Every major cutting house advised splitting it into two smaller commercial stones.
One master cutter in Tel Aviv disagreed. He spent fourteen months removing exactly the right amount of material to centre the pure vivid zone, sacrificing 78 % of the original weight to create a stone that faces up stronger in colour than 95 % of Vivids twice its size.
Result:
- 8.41 ct Fancy Vivid Yellow radiant
- Clarity: VVS1
- GIA certificate: “Exceptional colour saturation for size”
- Zero fluorescence, perfect optics, no graining
It is the single strongest yellow radiant we have seen in private hands in fifteen years.
This stone will never be listed. It will never go to auction. It will be shown once, under daylight, to one buyer.
If you have been waiting for a yellow that stops conversation the moment it enters the room, your wait is over.
