Mogok has not produced a single commercial crystal of this calibre in over twenty years. Everything that moves now is old family inventory – and most of that is gone.
In December 2025 we received the final parcel that will ever leave the original trading families of Myanmar and Bangkok: 38.4 total carats across three stones, all unheated, all with the true “royal blue” body colour and the sleepy silk that makes them glow like velvet under any light.
The stones:
- 18.20 ct oval – deepest royal blue, loupe clean, Gübelin & AGL “Royal Blue, Kashmir-like appearance”
- 11.90 ct cushion – electric cornflower with perfect silk haze, no inclusions visible to the naked eye
- 8.30 ct emerald-cut – velvet texture, flashes of violet in daylight, microscopic rutile only
These are not “Kashmir rivals.” They are the last three Mogok royal blues of size that still exist outside museums and crown collections.
They will not be split. They will not be priced. They will go to one collector, one jeweller, or one royal household – once.
After this parcel, the book on Mogok royal blue closes forever.
If you have waited decades for the colour that defined an era, this is the final page.
